- Qualification:
- Dean, College of Veterinary Science: B.V.Sc. & A.H/B.V.Sc. at least second division with Ph.D in any branch of Veterinary & Animal Science
- Director of Research: Ph.D in any Branch of Veterinary and Animal Science
- Deputy Director: Ph.D degree in Field of Agricultural/Horticulture/Veterinary Science/Animal Science/Fisheries/Agricultural Engineering/Home Science/agro Forestry and Master Degree in the relevant discipline with OCPA
- Clerk: Graduate from recognized University
- Driver: Graduate, must possess a driving licence for driving heavy duty and light vehicle followed by at least 5 years experience
- Post Mortem Attendant: Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology with knowledge of carcase handling and performing post mortem examination or 12th with 3 years experience in performing post mortem examination of animals or handling carcass in Hasdda Rori or in an Educational Institution
- Chownkidar: 12th with good physique and knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric Level
- Sweeper: Must have passed Middle and having knowledge of Punjabi
- Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on Interview

- The pay and allowances of the above posts shall be given on the basis of the Punjab Govt. Notification No.7/204/2012-4 F.P.1/66 dated 15.1.2015 or as per Govt. of Punjab direction issued from time to time.
- The university will prepare a score card for the posts mentioned at Sr. No.4 to 6. As per the merit of the score card, the candidates 10 times the number of posts shall be called for shorthand/type test/practical test.
- Self-addressed envelope (9”x4”) along with postal stamps of Rs. 25/- must be attached with the application form.
- Applications, which are incomplete/not on the prescribed form/received after the due date/received without the prescribed application fee etc. shall not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.
- The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw any post indicated in the Advertisement at any stage.
- In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. While advance copy of the application must reach by the prescribed last date of the receipt of applications, the copy through proper channel must reach in the office of Registrar, GADVASU by the interview/written test date, whichever is applicable.
- The reservation and relaxation in age shall be as per Punjab Govt./ University rules.
- Any dispute arising out of anything in connection with this advertisement with the University will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Ludhiana only.
- No T.A./D.A. will be paid for attending the interview/examination etc.
- 50% exemption in examination fee will be given to the physically handicapped persons
